Ann Collier began lacemaking in 1976 having already taken City & Guilds Embroidery and Dress Design and a Teaching qualification.  She was one of the first examiners for City & Guilds Lace and has written seven books on various aspects of lace.   Ann was Chairman of The Lace Guild for two years and President of OIDFA for six years.  She has lectured and taught in many different countries.  Ann specialises in contemporary lace fans and has now made over 200.
