MARY COLEMAN

Mary has been making lace for nearly 40 years, mainly bobbin lace, and enjoys experimenting with unusual threads and materials.  She works with or without a grid, often completely freely, and incorporates copper wire, silk paper, and whatever she can find into her designs.

She is currently exploring the use of wool, silk and paper yarns and fibres, and experimenting with felting, as well as mixing wire, wool, silk and paper into one design, and anything else that will fit the design.
